Bobby and Dana’s Story
We have been at Seafield for three years…and it feels like a lifetime in the best of ways! We feel blessed and grateful to be part of this West End community and to live in such a beautiful character building.
From the beginning, we have felt at home here, with neighbours immediately introducing themselves and making themselves available should any need arise. In no other building that we’ve lived can you forget your laundry in the common laundry room and not only still find it days later, but find it folded! We even have an annual themed Halloween event for the neighbourhood kids!!
It is a true pleasure to come home, to see smiling faces, to meet up in common areas or outside for chats and sometimes food and drink! Holidays are particularly eventful as everyone gets into the spirit by gearing up for potluck Hall-a-day gatherings!
Most recently when we found out that we were expecting our first child, the entire building responded with such enthusiasm. We woke up the next morning to parenting magazines at our door and offers for babysitting and infant clothing. It really is amazing to have such a wonderful group of neighbours we can rely on and trust, who look out for one another. In fact it is more fitting to call them friends, which they truly all have become.
The West End has been our home for almost a decade. And Seafield makes it that much sweeter.
